In case of contract appointments, maximum age for working as Pilot is 65 years and for Marine Engineer, is 70 years, subject to medical fitness, every year after the age of 60 years. | (i) Must hold a certificate of competency as master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. (ii) One year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going ship. |

Pay Scale : Regular appointments will be on the payscale of Rs.32900- 58000 on the PSU pay pattern linked to Industrial DA and includes cafeteria allowance at 47% of basic pay with annual increment of 3%. At present pay levels, the remuneration works out approximately to Rs.91,000/- at the minimum of the scale besides admissible work related perks/allowances. Other service benefits include leave, medical aid for self and family, advances for purchase of house, car etc. as per the Port Trust regulations from time to time. Residential quarters on license fee is admissible. New Contributory Pension Scheme shall apply.
